CONSTANCE VERA PETERS  - WHERE SHE RESTS

Connie Peters (Aunt Connie) was laid to rest in Putney Vale Cemetery on 20th February 1971.

She had passed peacefully at her home in Richmond Road and one of her last recorded wishes was -  “In the event of my death I should like to rest in our Quiet Room (in Fellowship House) until the time of my cremation, that Fellowship friends shall come and pray with me there - Not with sadness, but to rejoice that my task is done this side of life.”

She also left details for the Service of Thanksgiving for her life and instructions to the Trustees Fellowship House,’this dear house’, as she would call it should be sold, thus relieving the Trustees of a difficult decision.

Connie’s Ashes were scattered in The Glade at Putney Vale (under the tree in the foreground this picture).
