ABOUT IAN

After public school at Uppingham Ian went off to do his National Service as an officer in the Guards regiment.  After this Ian led a varied and eclectic professional life starting with Mowlems Construction, moving on Medway Buildings selling sheds then onto selling quality fresh fish and seafood from the back of a van.

In 2005 Ian invented a ramp to assist large arthritic dogs to access estate cars, this led to Ian's last 'career ' as a creator of Web Sites. I had the pleasure of resuming my boyhood friendship with Ian before we had both departed for boarding school and I had the privilege of reuniting and forming a close working partnership with Ian as his Web designer.

During this decade from 2005 to 2015  we developed and published five quite unique Web Sites.

www.salmonprospects.co.uk - a specialist salmon fishing site/app providing vast amounts of information for salmon fishermen with weather new, places to fish, accommodation and specialist tackle.

www.doggieramps.co.uk - the site selling Ian's invention for large dogs with difficulties accessing cars.

www.newagentswindow.co.uk - our early concept for advertising as in virtual newsagents window

and lastly -

www.idrawcars.co.uk - a showcase for Ian's special talent in pencil drawings of cars, a skill he kept hidden. This is the site I have chosen to use for a virtual memorial to Ian's life and skills.

Sadly, the production of coasters, placemats and bespoke drawings of cars on request which were beginning to sell well ceased with Ian's sad death in 2015.
